Canon 60D has tilt-able LCD which is good for those photographers who need to shoot at awkward angles. Choose Canon 60D if you don’t need burst speed that is more than 5.3 fps. And if you want carry the lightest possible camera that can do most of the jobs, then Canon 60D is the best camera for you. If you are not satisfied with these features, then you probably need Canon EOS 7D.
None of the Sony digital SLR lenses including the SAL-30M28 comes with built in image stabilization. Sony works with the philosophy that image stabilization is a camera feature and all Sony alpha digital SLR cameras come with image stabilization. However, if you are planning to use this Sony macro lens on another camera brand, then you need to check whether the camera comes with image stabilization or not as that would determine how well you can use this macro lens in hand held mode and still manage to get great pictures. In terms of other factors this lens is a good value for money lens. The build quality is not great, but the optical quality is reasonable for the price paid. Macro lenses are almost always used in handheld mode and the 2cm working distance required for this lens could end up being a problem for high end macro pictures.

There are cameras that are better suited for portraits and there are those that excel if you use them for fast motion events. There are some that are designed to withstand the worst kind of weather situations and there are those that are quite delicated.
There are many more questions to be asked. The more questions you ask and the more sensible they are, the more likely you will end up with a purchase that will please you.
